By using Dupelikit you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. What Dupelikit is

Dupelikit is a community platform where users discover, submit, and vote on affordable alternatives (“dupes”) for luxury makeup products. Dupe assessments are community-generated opinions — we make no guarantee that any product is a true match for another. Always check ingredients and perform patch tests before use.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not create accounts for others or impersonate any person or brand.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

4. User content

When you submit a dupe, write a review, or post any content on Dupelikit, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content on the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

You must not submit content that:

• Is false, misleading, or submitted in bad faith.
• Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Is abusive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
• Is spam or submitted for commercial gain without our permission.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules without notice.

5. Intellectual property

The Dupelikit name, logo, design, and original content are our property. Product names, brand names, and imagery belong to their respective owners. We use them for editorial and comparative purposes under the principle of nominative fair use.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Dupelikit is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any dupe information. Community content reflects the opinions of individual users, not professional cosmetic advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dupelikit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any products discovered through it. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed £100.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
